Backyard Portraiture

Posing a male using the 1-2-2 method, the models shoulders are faced towards empty space to create lead space while the head and the eyes are pointed towards the camera over the masculine (lower) shoulder.
posing a female using the 1-2-3 method, the shoulders are faced towards empty space creating lead space. The head is facing over the feminine (higher) shoulder and the eyes are pointed towards the camera.
For this side composition photo I used a shallow depth of field in order to get only the closest subject in focus. I had the subjects look away from the camera towards the natural light.
For this Head/Shoulders shot I used a longer focal length to get a closer, more personal feel in the photo.
This full body shot was shot at a lower focal length to get more in frame.
I enhanced this photo using a radial filter where everything on the outside of the radial gradient had a slightly lower exposure in order to create a deeper jawline and a brighter face.
This is my color replacement photo, I masked out the shirt so that it would be the only thing effected by the color replacement tool, the color I chose originally I thought was too bright so I decreased the saturation on only the layer with the masked shirt.
This is the original image for the color replacement edit.
